Ingleford Scaffolding was appointed to support the restoration of the magnificent Seaton Delaval Hall, working in partnership with Historic Property Restoration Ltd.

Our team delivered a fully designed, free-standing scaffold system—both internally and externally—to enable the careful refurbishment and replacement of the building’s historic windows.

As a Grade I listed property and home to the UK’s largest colony of bats, the project required specialist planning to ensure both safe access and the highest standards of ecological protection.

The site remained open to the public throughout the works, with our team also constructing a temporary disabled access ramp to ensure inclusivity for all visitors.

This project demonstrates our expertise in delivering complex access solutions for heritage sites, balancing restoration requirements with safety, ecology, and public accessibility.
