Low Lights Public House

Ingleford Scaffolding was appointed by North Tyneside Council to provide emergency access solutions at the Low Lights building in North Shields, following severe fire damage that left the structure unsafe.

To enable the safe demolition of the building, we delivered a fully designed, free-standing independent scaffold system. This included a 20-metre beam span to support the unstable gable wall and shoring to the front elevation, allowing for the safe removal of the roof peak.

Due to the compromised nature of the structure, the scaffold was constructed without tying into the building, preventing further risk to its stability.

This project helped secure the site and surrounding area, protecting both the public and nearby infrastructure. We are proud to have supported the Council in making the area safe.
