Adelaide House
Client - Gateshead Council
Project Value - £40K
Project Duration - 11 weeks

Ingleford Scaffolding was awarded a contract by Gateshead Council for an 11 week project, valued at £40,000, to support critical roof repair works. The project involved the design, erection, and maintenance of an independent scaffold system, specifically tailored to meet the needs of the site and ensure maximum safety and efficiency.
Our team implemented a fully independent scaffold structure, complete with a high-capacity hoist system to facilitate the transportation of materials and tools between ground level and the roof. This system allowed the repair crew safe, unrestricted access to all areas of the roof, minimising disruption to the surrounding environment and keeping the project on schedule. The hoist was integral in speeding up the workflow by reducing manual handling and ensuring materials were available on-site when needed.
Throughout the project, our scaffold solution enabled the repair team to work efficiently and safely at height, complying with all industry standards and council safety requirements. Additionally, we conducted regular inspections and maintenance to ensure the scaffold remained stable and fit for purpose throughout the duration of the works.
This project highlights Ingleford Scaffolding’s commitment to delivering customised access solutions that prioritise safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction, even on complex, time-sensitive projects like this essential roof repair.
