Killhope Lead Mine

The building of the mine began in 1853 and closed in 1910. During the 1870s, the mine became one of the richest in Britain.

Killhope Lead Mine is the oldest mine in the country. Our Ingleford Scaffolding team had an opportunity to supply and build a bespoke scaffold design for Historic Property Restoration Ltd. We needed to provide scaffolding to restore the old water wheel so we installed a bespoke fully designed scaffold.
